While in India l bought two intricate hanging marble lamps (the marble is

assemble one lamp, l washed the pieces with warm soap and water, but many

of the pieces have dirt stains on them that l could not get out, l
remember them being almost pristine when l bought them though. The dirt
shows up very well because the marble is pure white.
Is there
anyway to properly clean or bleach the marble?
Once again, the
marble is unsealed and unfinished, so it is very likely that the dirt is
in the pores of the marble.
l can buy products, but l have many
already, l have already tried marble polish on a few pieces, but to no
avail.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Believe it or not I just saw this topic on DIY tv. They used a

paste-like substance, spread it on 1/4'' thick & said to let it set for 72

hours, then clean & then seal. I checked their website (diynetwork.com)

but it is not on there yet. Check in a day or so, & it should be there.

It will tell you what kind of paste that it was & what kind of sealant to

use once the stain is removed. Here is the link to the show it was on.
